What it does

Settle each payment proportionally as items are invoiced, even when an order uses more than one payment method, such as two credit cards, or a credit card combined with a gift card. Previously, this flexibility was limited to single-payment orders. Now it applies across a wider range of purchase scenarios, reducing the cost of holding unsettled funds and simplifying reconciliation for split-payment transactions.

How to use

Partial settlement for multi-payment orders is activated automatically for accounts already using partial settlement with connectors built on the Payment Provider Protocol. No additional configuration is required. Legacy connectors are not supported.
