use the VTEX logo when addressing the Platforms?
Our new platforms have some specific usage rules. Depending on the situation, the Logo nomenclature may change.
We will detail on the following pages when to use, for example, "VTEX Commerce Platform" and when "Commerce Platform" is more appropriate. It is worth noting that its composition in coexistence with the VTEX Logo should also be managed carefully.
When to use the "VTEX" nomenclature?
The name "VTEX" can be used in "Commerce/CX/Ads Platform" alongside the VTEX logo only when one of the three Platforms is being mentioned; that is, if CX Platform and/or Ads Platform are present in the same piece, the VTEX text must be removed from all three logos and, if mentioned, should appear only once.
Use the "VTEX" nomenclature in VTEX institutional pieces only once when one of the 3 Platforms is presented. Never place the Institutional VTEX logo close to the VTEX nomenclature (example on the following pages).
When the 3 Platforms are mentioned, use the "VTEX" nomenclature only once to avoid redundancy. Never place the Institutional VTEX logo close to the VTEX nomenclature.
Always use the full logo, that is, with the VTEX nomenclature when it is addressed or used by external entities.
Joint use with external brands and partners
When using VTEX Platforms alongside external brands (clients or partners), follow the instructions below. Always respect the safety margin defined in this guide — the value of X must also be applied as minimum spacing relative to the external brand. Prefer the horizontal layout and maintain size proportion between the logos.
Use value X as the minimum distance between the brands. Apply the same spacing to the client or partner logo.
Regardless of the logo type (1, 2, or 3 lines), the partner's logo must be proportionate in size to the VTEX Platform used.
Always prefer the horizontal arrangement of the logos. If not possible, at least maintain the safety margins described on this page.
