Delivery Promise: Show only products customers can actually receive

Display only products available for delivery or pickup based on the shopper's location, reducing cart abandonment and improving product discovery.

What it does

Delivery Promise filters the product listing page in real time based on what is actually available for the shopper's address or nearby pickup points. When a customer provides their location, the store shows only products that can be delivered or picked up — including accurate delivery estimates, shipping options, and pickup availability — removing products that cannot be fulfilled for that location. The solution works across Store Framework, FastStore, and headless architectures, and supports the full VTEX seller architecture including franchise accounts, VTEX Sellers, Seller Portal, and external sellers.

Benefits

  • Fewer broken promises: Customers never see products they cannot buy in their location, reducing abandonment caused by discovering unavailability at checkout.
  • Higher conversion: Personalized product availability from the start of the shopping journey increases purchase intent and reduces drop-off.
  • Better omnichannel visibility: The solution factors in both delivery and in-store pickup availability, making the full logistics network visible to shoppers from the product listing page.

How to use

Delivery Promise requires Intelligent Search. Contact VTEX Support to request activation. After enablement, configure delivery options and display components through the VTEX Admin and your storefront. Refer to the developer documentation for Store Framework, FastStore, and headless implementation guides.
